On Sunday, September 5th, 2009 the Colorado Springs USA Triathlon High Performance WickedFast Triathlon Team competed in the IronKids Triathlon series in the picturesque ski village of Avon, CO. More than 250 youth and Jr. athletes ranging in age from 5 to 15 tested themselves on a safe but challenging course at almost 10,000 feet of elevation. The WickedFast triathletes swam, biked and ran their way to earn seven, 1st place finishes, four, 2nd place and two, 3rd place spot on the podium. As well as, three, 4th place finishes and one, 5th place finish.

Athletes that place in the top five secure their spot in the Ironkids National Championship Race in Tucson, AZ, October 4th.
